Good week for fishing off the point — a few of our guests have come back with more cod than they knew what to do with, plus a couple of decent sea trout. The water out here is cold even in August, so the fish keep well right off the boat.
If you want to try, we can point you toward the better spots and lend out basic tackle. A boat can be arranged too, for anyone who wants to get further out into the fjord.
One tip from the season so far: bring more layers than you think you need. The wind off the water has a way of finding you, even on a warm afternoon.
